Four framed copper prints from an 18th century journal with scenes of a Royal Navy campaign against Spanish activities in the Pacific in 1740-1744, carried out by a squadron around the 60-gun battleship Centurion under Commodore George Anson. Also see Item K276. All bylines are bilingual in Dutch and French.
The prints are in average condition, with unobstrusive vertical folds and some brownish spots from old use. The frames are 50,5cm x 34,5cm and are made from pine with oak fronts. They are in poor condition, but resurfacing them would be possible.
