A very handsome 18th century small blunderbuss pistol with 9cm brass barrel, 18mm wide at the muzzle. Two viewer’s marks on the underside of the barrel. Spring bayonet secured by sliding trigger guard. Box-lock action with sliding safety catch. The action decorated with trophies and signed “BASS” on the left side and “LONDON” on the right. Walnut grip which is slightly misaligned to the action, but not loose. Length overall 23cm.
